Who knew peach whisky went so well with champagne? It’s actually an amazing combination. There’s warmth from the whisky, yet cool bubbles from the champagne. Should have known it would be a winning combo!

In fact, if you’re mixing champagne and Peach Crown, this Sparkling Peach Crown Drink is another delicious drink recipe for a summer champagne cocktail.

Serving this Crown Royal Peach Mimosa will really up your brunch menu! Fair warning, it’s a strong cocktail. If you’re used to enjoying several mimosas at brunch, you might want to take it a little slower with these Crown Peach drinks. There’s a whole shot of whisky, which adds a lot more alcohol.

What Kind of Champagne is Best for Mimosas?

It depends on your tastes! If you’re a fan of really sweet drinks, then use champagnes labeled Dry and Extra Dry. Which are confusing names, but Dry and Extra Dry are sweet champagnes.

Since a typical mimosa is mixed with orange juice, which adds sweetness, I prefer less sweet champagnes. Brute and Extra Brute are the basic less-sweet champagnes readily available.

And if in doubt, the best choice is to use the type of champagne you enjoy!

What Does Peach Crown Taste Like?

Crown Royal Peach is one of the most popular flavored whiskies by Crown Royal. When you open a bottle, the sweet aroma of peaches is strong, but the flavor isn’t overly peachy. It’s just the right amount of peach flavor with hints of vanilla and caramel.

Peach Crown is aged in oak barrels so you still get the slight oaky notes same as you do in traditional Crown Royal.

Once you’ve tried it, you’ll be making Crown Peach Whiskey drinks all the time.

What Mixes Well with Crown Peach?

You can use other fruit juices for mimosas besides orange juice! Here are some great flavor combinations for a Crown Peach Mimosa:

  • Peach Juice – I use Simply Peach and it’s very fresh tasting.
  • Cranberry Juice – Crown Peach mixes really well with cranberry juice too.
  • Pineapple Juice – substitute orange juice with pineapple juice in this Crown Peach Mimosa for another delicious flavor combination.

Do You Need a Non-Alcoholic Version?

Not everyone at your breakfast or brunch gathering might want an alcoholic drink.

To make sure all your guests have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious peach drink, you can create a non-alcoholic peach mimosa. Mix a shot of orange juice, peach juice and top with ginger ale. Or delight them with a Banna Peach Smoothie for a special peach treat.

How to Make a Crown Peach Mimosa

When making this summer champagne cocktail, be sure to add drink ingredients in order.

Step 1: Pour 1 shot of Crown Royal Peach into your champagne flute.

Tip: Chill your bottle of Peach Crown and your peach mimosa will stay cooler longer.

Step 2: Add 1 shot of pulp-free orange juice.

Tip: If you’re squeezing fresh orange juice, be sure to strain the pulp. Chilled orange juice tastes best in a mimosa so allot for extra time to chill fresh orange juice.

Tip: I also tried using Simply Peach juice and it was delicious. Very peachy. If you love peach in general, try it! It’s also wonderful with pineapple juice. So many options and they are all fantastic.

Step 3: Top with 3 oz of Champagne

Tip: Use less-sweet champagne such as Brut or Extra Brut. The fruit juice is sweet and the less-sweet champagne really balances out the sweetness of the mimosa.

Step 4: Add a fresh peach slice and sprig of mint for garnish.

Tip: The mint garnish is for presentation and isn’t necessary for a tasty Crown Peach Mimosa, but the fresh mint really delights the senses before taking a sip.

Serve up this glass of tasty Crown Royal Peach Mimosa at your next brunch gathering! It’s perfect for any occasion you’d normally serve mimosas. Try it for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or simply add it to your lazy Sunday morning family brunch. Crown Peach, champagne and orange juice is an irresistible combination.

It’s fruity, fresh and bubbly! Worthy of a top spot on your brunch menu. It’s hard to go wrong with Crown Peach Whiskey drinks.

Cheers!
