This Skrewball Peanut Butter and Jelly Shot is an easy alcoholic drink! It’s often simply called a PB&J shot and this easy recipe only needs 2 ingredients to make this popular peanut butter and jelly shot.

Today’s recipe is all about Skrewball Whiskey, my preferred peanut butter whiskey brand. The nutty flavor of Skrewball Whiskey combined with the sweet raspberry taste of Chambord Liqueur creates this delicious peanut butter and jelly shot.

This just might be my favorite way to serve Skrewball shots!

Peanut Butter Jelly Shots (also called PBJ Shot or PB&J shot) are great for so many occasions. First, these are amazing for party shots because this recipe is quick and easy especially if you are making a large batch. And party shooters are so much fun, your friends will love these.

I also find these to be popular for birthday celebrations. It’s all about remembering how much we loved peanut butter and jelly as a kid, but now it’s even better as a Skrewball Whiskey adult shot. It’s such a smooth peanut butter jelly shot that goes down easy, just like this Peanut Butter Whiskey and Jelly Drink.

A legit and common question. No, there isn’t actual peanut butter, but Skrewball Whiskey is made with real peanuts along with their secret blend of spices.

The company has a really cool back story about the husband and wife team who created this very first peanut butter whiskey. It’s wonderful to see a small family company succeed!

What does Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Taste Like?

Skrewball Whiskey tastes of caramel and vanilla mixed with a nutty peanut flavor with a burn of whiskey. Very popular brand for peanut butter whiskey shots.

I have to say, I like it. It’s a good representation of peanut butter with liquor.

It’s also supposed to be pretty good straight-up over ice, but I’m not a straight whiskey drinker, so I’m just passing that info along!

Skrewball is my go-to for this peanut butter and jelly shot recipe.

 

What is good to mix with Skrewball Whiskey?

There are quite a few mixer ideas for a Skrewball drink. Fruity flavors and creamy flavors mix well.

Try it with grape, blackberry, raspberry juices or liqueurs. Here’s a fun Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Peanut Butter and Jelly Drink and it’s even garnished with a PB&J sandwich!

For creamy flavors, it mixes well with Bailey’s, RumChata or vanilla ice cream, like I did in this Peanut Butter Whiskey Milk Shake. I bet it’s pretty good in coffee too!

This peanut butter jelly shot is super easy. Made with just 2 ingredients and it really does taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

• Skrewball Whiskey
• Chambord Liqueur
• Raspberries (for garnish)

 

What does Chambord Taste Like?

It’s a sweet berry flavor liqueur. Chambord is made from blackberries and raspberries which makes it the perfect companion to peanut butter whiskey. It just screams PB&J shot! Right?

It also mixes really well with champagne and quite popular with gin cocktails. But it works with vodka and seltzers too.

If you’re worried about buying a bottle of Chambord and not having anything else to make with it, believe me, it is quite versatile and won’t go to waste.

How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Shot

This recipe is made in a tall shot glass and it’s so simple you can make these drinks anytime you feel like it. Grab your cocktail shaker and let’s mix them!

Step 1: Pour 1 part Skrewball Whiskey into a cocktail shaker.

Step 2: Pour 1 part Chambord Liqueur into the cocktail shaker.

Step 3: Add ice and shake.

Step 4: Fill a tall shot glass with the above mixture.

Step 5: Garnish with fresh raspberries on a toothpick.

Tip: This is your shot and you can play with the mixing ratios. I like a 1:1 ratio. If you want more nutty flavor and a little less berry sweetness, then adjust this recipe to add more peanut butter whiskey.
