What’s In a Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade Vodka Slush?
The key to this vodka lemonade slush is the fresh fruit and juices. Sweet pineapple chunks and strawberries are balanced out with tart lemonade. The fresh fruits are blended with lemon juice, water, sugar to create lemonade. Then spiked with your favorite vodka.
This recipe calls for making our own lemonade from scratch, but if you’re low on lemons or sugar you can easily use a pre-made lemonade such as Simply Lemonade.
How to Make a Vodka Slush Lower Carb
Well, it can’t exactly be low carb since vodka slushies are made with fruit juices, but you can make it lower in carbs.
If you’re watching those sugar calories, substitute the sugar with an artificial sweetener. In this case, I’d make the entire batch without any sweeter, then add the artificial sweetener slowly until you find the right mix. You’ll need to play around with it until you find the right combination.
Another option to lower the calories is to use a sugar-free Lemonade mix.

How to Make Fresh Pineapple Strawberry Vodka Lemonade Slush
I Love a large batch cocktail recipe! Make it up and pour a glass for all your guests.
This recipe makes 8-10 servings, depending on the size of your serving glasses.
Step 1: I know you probably already know this, but the first step is to clean your strawberries. Wash and cut off the stems for 2 cups of strawberries. Make sure you hold back a few for garnish.
Step 2: Next, you’ll need 2 cups of pineapple chunks. A medium to large pineapple will yield about 3 cups, so you’ll have extra for garnish as well. Core and peel your pineapple and cut it into chunks.
Tip: Here’s how to easily core a pineapple! If you don’t have this kitchen tool, you should grab one. I actually use it more often than I ever thought I would. It’s simply called a pineapple corer. I can’t imagine making pineapple cocktails without it. It’ll core and peel your pineapple all at the same time. Simple to use and clean up is a snap!
Step 3: Make fresh lemonade. Juice 4 large lemons to get a 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Add 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 2 cups of water.
Step 4: Of course, you’ll need vodka to make it a vodka lemonade slushie! The last ingredient is 1 cup of your favorite brand of vodka. Combine all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
Step 5: Fill your glass with crushed ice, pour in the pineapple strawberry vodka lemonade mix.
Tip: You can make it more blended and less slushy if you prefer by adding the ice directly into the blender. To get enough ice, you might need to pour out half of the mixture and then add ice to blend. Then do it again with the other half of the mixture.
Step 6: Garnish with a strawberry and a pick of pineapple chunks. Cheers!
