Parrot Head Poem “Where the Weather Suits My Toes”

Parrot Heads love to dream about the lower latitudes where there is more sunshine than cloudy days.

Parrot Head, Lynn Robb, loves to write short poems about the lifestyle we all love and we’re glad she shares them with all of us!

Parrot Head Poem

Where the Weather Suits My Toes

Happy are my feet when warmed by the sand
Casually flip-flopping’ where ever I can
Feeling more grounded on the soles of my feet
My toes are hanging ten, life is so sweet
When I hear the sound of a steel drum band
Oh, I’ll be jammin’, toe jammin’ manBut when the summer days get shorter
And the cool wind starts to blow
Longing to be south of the border
Where the weather suits my toes
Yea where the weather suits my toes

I can handle a sandal if the path gets rough
A shoe I can handle when the going gets tough

I am just a beach loving Parrot Head at heart
I’ve been that way right from the start

Out on a sandy beach, that’s where I’ll be
Listening to Trop Rock, down by the sea
And as the days get shorter
And the cool wind blows
I’ll be heading south of the border
Where the weather suits my toes.
