Tips

  • Serve this drink right away to enjoy the bubbly from the lemon-lime soda.
  • If you find your cocktail lacks in color, simply add in a drop of green food coloring to get the perfect shade.
  • I like to serve in a highball glass but feel free to use any type of glass for this cocktail recipe.

Variations

  • You can add a splash of fresh lemon juice or fresh lime juice in the drink for an added kick of flavor if you want a more tangy and tart drink.
  • Change up of your garnishes. Add a maraschino cherry or a pineapple slice.

What Type of Glass Should I Use?

You can serve your drink in a rocks glass or highball glass. It would also look fun in a mason jar.

Can I Make this Cocktail in Advance?

Partially. You can add all the ingredients together into a large pitcher except for the lemon-lime soda.

Once you’ve poured the mixture into a glass, you can then top with the soda. This will add the fizziness needed. If you add the soda early, it will be flat.
